Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier at www.southlakesminis.co.uk. Just browse our website and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout or Basket Link' and you will be asked for your contact details and choice of shipping so we are able to complete your order. You will then be directed to our Secure Online Payments system SagePay which will process and charge your credit card immediately. After payment has been made you will be returned to www.southlakesminis.co.uk and a copy of your order will reamin on line. You will receive a confirmation email of your order and subsequent updates.
We accept most credit and debit card payments which are processed live online by the UK's number 1 online payments - SagePay. We employ superior fraud detection systems including Verified by Visa, Mastercard Securecode. This is for both our and your protection during the payment process.

Shipping And Handling
When you have completed your order, you are given a choice of shipping methods relevant for the selection of goods in your shipping basket. This will range from Post to Next Day Air Delivery. Please allow upto 48 hours to process your order - for example if you place an order at 7pm on Friday we will not process the order until 9am Monday morning.


Posting Glass :

Although we take great care in packaging glass (windscreens/headlamps etc), we cannot offer any insurance. Therefore it is at the customers own risk that they purchase glass by mail order. Please note there will be an extra delivery charge for posting windscreens.


Worldwide Service:

We specialise in supplying your every need, regardless of where you live. Due to the high volume of orders that we despatch every day, we have been able to negotiate extremely competitive rates with major carriers including all airmail, road and air shipping services. All prices quoted are at cost to us. Prices include packaging and sundries.

Delivery Schedule

Please allow upto 48 hours to process your order.

Orders are shipped by your choice of shipping agent at checkout and we use the following shipping agents:

* Royal Mail First Class Signed For (upto 500g)
* UPS UK and Worldwide
* All parcels are shipped with a tracking/shipping number and require a signature upon delivery. This is for both your and our security.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will inform you and give any options that are available to you. Alternatively if the item has become permanently out of stock we will refund your payment within 24 hours during normal weekday operations.
Tax Charges

We currently show prices including AND ecluding VAT on the individual product pages.

Where a price does not state "excluding vat" or "including vat" please presume that the price indicated does not include vat. This may occur on the category pages.

VAT is charged on all UK and European orders and is shown in the basket when you place your order.

Countries outide of the European Union do not pay VAT and this is also reflected in your basket.

If you area  VAT registered business in the EU then please contact us and we can process your order manually. We will be introducing a traders only login process shortly.

Our Guarantee

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase. If you return an item in it's original and unused condition, along with the wrapping and receipt to our store within 14 days of purchase, we will exchange it or offer a full refund (please note that this does not include shipping costs.)
If a product develops a manufacturing fault within 30 days, we will offer the same refund or exchange policy as above.

If a product develops a manufacturing fault after 30 days, and within the manufacturer's guarantee period, a new product will be sent out immediately and charged for. A refund will be issued once the faulty product has been returned to ourselves and assessed. In certain circumstances the manufacturer could require to inspect the product before a refund is issued.

Returns Policy

Returns & Shortages

If parts are to be returned to us, you must first obtain a Returns Authorisation form our Returns Department.

We cannot accept any returns which have not been previously authorised.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.
PLEASE NOTE all shortages/damaged/or other discrepencies with your order must be reported within 24 hours of taking delivery of your order.
Goods which prove unsuitable may be returned for a refund, credit note or exchange if they are returned to ourselves within 7 days of receipt. Subject to the following

Items are returned carriage paid
Items received are in a re-saleable condition
Items should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund
Items are returned complete with all packaging in good condition. (We reserve the right to charge for replacement packaging when the original has been damaged or defaced.)
Items returned after 7 days from receipt may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. (This does not affect you statutory rights)
We cannot accept any items which have been specially ordered for you or manufactured to your specification for return.
All returns are to be accompanied by the senders name and address, order number and reason for return. Remember, the information you provide will help us to help you.
We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered or lost, please keep your proof of postage, as it may be required in the event of a claim with our couriers.
South Lakes Minis are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts.
Old units returned for a surcharge refund, must be returned within 30 days months of purchase in a clean and serviceable condition. Returned surcharge units that are not serviceable will not be refunded.
